Steve & Carol Burton
Pastors Steve and Carol Burton
Steve Burton co-founded an evangelistic ministry in 1985 called Good Samaritan Ministries in the Greater Philadelphia area, addressing the needs of the poor, hurting and homeless.
Beginning in 1987 he also ministered as musician, worship leader, teacher and evangelist at Kingsway Assembly of God. In 1995 he became co-pastor of Glad Tidings Assembly of God. In 2000, he joined The Waters Community Worship Center, as staff pastor, administrator, and Bible teacher. All these churches are located in Southern New Jersey.
He, along with his wife Carol, also founded a vibrant home church called House of Praise with a focus on life changing praise, worship, intercessory prayer and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Their ministry vision, calling and anointing is worship and praise, pastoral and teaching with a focus to bring unity in the Body of Christ by building “spiritual bridges” and being a “repairer of the breach”.
They have great emphasis on the empowerment of the Holy Spirit with special focus on prophetic ministry. Their vision is enriched with emphasis on the end time glory of the church symbolized by the great Feast of Tabernacles, that is, the time of prophesied fullness and greatest anointing.
Their primary heart cry is for the church to have focus on Christ alone, be broken and emptied out and experience the true Holy Spirit empowered life in Him. House of Praise is called to be “a presence driven church” and “a church where mature Christians grow deeper with God”.
Steve is 72, married to his wife Carol for 47 years and have been blessed with 7 children and 7 grandchildren. They were both born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Steve and Carol now reside in Woolwich Township, NJ.
ELDERS
Ron & Marge Wilson
Elders Ron and Marge Wilson
They accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior over 60 years ago! They attended Faith Baptist Church, Bible Covenant Church and Grace Bible Fellowship Church all in Pennsylvania. They were active in the latter church as deacons, serving in the choir and Ron was a member of the Men’s Quartet.
The Wilson’s, upon moving to New Jersey, became members of Lamb’s Road Assembly of God in Washington Township NJ for 20 years. Ron sang in the choir and also directed the choir for several years.
Subsequently, they attended The Waters Community Worship Center for 6 years, where they served as deacons, ushers, greeters and on the prayer team. They have been associated with House of Praise since inception, and have served as Elders for 15 years.
The Wilson’s collective call to ministry is counseling, exhortation, administration and teaching. Marge has a strong gift of exhortation. Ron has musical gifts as well as the great gift of humor! They have been married for 60 years, now live in Danville PA, blessed with 5 children and 12 grandchildren.

Dan & Maryann Munyon
Teresa Olivo
Teresa was born and raised in Southern New Jersey. She been used in many roles in the church through the years.
She has been a Sunday School Teacher and leader in a women’s Bible Study. She has sung in the choir and directed Vacation Bible School. She also been involved with youth ministry, directing a movie night, party’s and special events.
She was also very effective in a Christian women’s health and exercise program. Teresa has ministered in nursing homes and in home Bible study groups.
She currently leads worship in flags and pageantry and also serves as the Lead Intercessor on the House of Praise Gap Force Intercessory Prayer Team.
She is very anointed in intercession and spiritual warfare. Many years ago, the Lord showed her that her call was to intercessory prayer, healing and teaching, The Great Commission of Evangelism and most of all, to be a loving person.
She was married in 1966, has three children and resides in Mt. Ephraim New Jersey.
Dan and Maryann Munyon
Mary Ann and Dan have about 30 years experience as Teachers of Children teaching all different ages throughout the years from nursery thru 8th grade. They were assistant Sunday School directors for approximately 5 years. They currently serve as the Directors of Children’s Ministries for House of Praise Ministries.
Mary Ann’s ministry call is teaching children and younger women. She is also used of God in the prophetic with prophetic visions. She is very gifted in intercessory prayer and spiritual warfare. She is given to hospitality, is a real “people person” and also functions powerfully as an encourager.
Dan has the gift of prophecy, is creative and serves as a powerful support to his wife in the Children’s Ministry. He also heads up our Movie Man Ministry, which travels to many nursing homes in the South Jersey area and shows nostalgic movies to seniors.
They were born in Philadelphia, PA. and have 5 children and 12 grandchildren. They reside in Pitman New Jersey.
